Because DPI designs and builds its own aircraft in the U.S. with U.S. ctizens, we can rapidly modify an existing design to meet new industry requirements and unique application needs. We isolate and reduce risk methodically throughout the development cycle. Unique Test Facilities

DPI co-locates its Engineering, Development, Test, Training, and Flight Testing (hover tests) facilities. DPI facilities are also close to two restricted airspace test ranges, which are used for flight tests, flight termination tests, data link range tests, and other critical tests. DPI’s location is ideal for rapid test and development of UAV systems and subsystems.

DPI offers unique, world-class testing for UAV systems and subsystems. DPI test services fully characterize and dynamically model the aerodynamic performance of the aircraft, including all forces, moments, and inertias of rotorhead systems. For example, for subsystems, each subsystem is separated, then rigorously and extensively tested, validated, and/or verified. Subsystems are then integrated to test and validate the system as a whole. This minimizes the effect of adding multiple unknowns on top of the overall unknown of flight test.
